Resolutions for 2014

January 3, 2014

It's hard to believe it's already 2014, the past few years appear to have flown by.

I initially held off from writing a resolutions post, I didn't plan to make any hard, solid ones this go 'round. Then I rethought it and decided to just jot down what I plan to do, just to look back next year at where my mind was.

This year my big commitment of a resolution is to turn off the computer, put down the phone, and all around be more present with my family. A few weeks ago Jeremy made the comment, joking-ish-ly, that I should have married my computer.

Honestly, it probably appears that way.

I get up, post blog posts on social media, go to work, workout, cook dinner, and get things scheduled for the upcoming days as well as edit any photos I have.

Not much time is spent where my sole focus is Jeremy.

So this year I resolve to put the computer up.

Am I going to back on from posting? No.

You probably won't even be able to tell. Instead I'll work on posts when my husband is playing music or busy, I won't take up our "we" time to work here on the site.

Mainly, my resolution is to better allot my time.

So far.... with that little thought it mind... it's been a great year.

Plus, I think someone is appreciating it.

He's appreciated it so much so that I'm tempted to call analog weekends and shut off my involvement in social media except for pre-scheduling posts when he is busy practicing for the praise team at church.

Other than that I plan to continue doing what I've done for ages.

Eat as healthy as possible, workout, and enjoy life.

What do you plan to do this year? Did you make a resolution?
