25 Days of Christmas // Teacher Friendly Kid Crafts

December 17, 2012

I always want to do these neat Christmas activities, but in upper grades (and with the hustle of drive by state curriculum teaching) we don't always have time. Lower grades seem to have more freedom than 4th & up. Week before last we did get to make edible Christmas trees, as per by wonderful Inclusion teacher's idea as a class reward. It turned out great, and they really loved it. If I'm not dead we may try out one of these Friday before break!

Christmas Tree in a thimble

Cookie cutter ornaments - use scrap book paper or photos!

I remember doing a handprint shirt for a field trip that we also gave to parents one year. This is a great class christmas activity for parents!

This is very similar to the tree we made, the kids thought it was the best idea ever!

Have the kids write out their wish list and put the year on the outside of the ornament with glitter:)

Snow Globes!
