25 Days of Christmas // Day 4 Garland

December 4, 2012

I absolutely love garland and bunting. I decorated my classroom with bunting a few years ago and have kept it up and moved it as I've moved rooms. This year I used all of the unused ornaments we have (since we downsized our tree in our tiny apartment) and made a super easy garland with ornaments and spare ribbon. Anything to add more Christmas to this apartment at a price I can afford...free.

Here are a few of my favorite DIY Pinterest garland tutorials and a few ideas that aren't actually tutorials:)

This is very similar to the tutorial I used for our ornament garland:

Super east and very inexpensive to make! Paper cup garland:)

Glitter Print Garland

Granted its a Thanksgiving garland, but I plan on dipping pinecones in white paint and using this for Christmas.

Wish I would have found this tutorial for mesh garland before I made a ghetto version last year!

Do you not love fresh garland? One day I am dreaming of a house full of greenery and burlap.

Again, another Thanksgiving garland...but with snow flake or mitten shapes it would be super cute for Christmas.

Paper plate Christmas tree garland, super fun kids craft!

I am in love with this twig garland...but where on earth do I get a ton of same shape twing?

Another pretty ornament garland, but this time with pretty ribbon and only a few color coordinated ornaments.

If only I could knit.

Last, who doesn't have a ton of fabric scraps? Here is a fun way to put them to use!

Now in case you're interested, here is the lineup for the rest of the week:

Feel free to link up multiple times this month with different posts. I am keeping the same linky going throughout the series so it makes it easier to find posts:)
