Meal Pinning Monday

August 13, 2017

You could call the theme of this weekend's eating as "well that's not what I intended."

It started out with the Cordon Blue Chicken Casserole. I was thinking it had a good taste (keep in mind texture doesn't bother me), when all of the sudden Jeremy said "I can't take the texture of this I'm about to throw up."

That went well.

Then I attempted to make a keto version of English Cream & Berries... forgetting that Jeremy has Jello texture issues... guess who didn't eat it all.

I really should start making a list of what he doesn't like.

We have very different tastes and I often neglect to retain information. It doesn't work well.

[What is Meal Pinning Monday?]
MPM is how I meal plan for our little family. I once spent a lot of time searching the web and my recipe books hunting for new recipes and ideas for what to cook every week. Then, Pinterest came along and made meal planning much easier for me. Every weekend I look over what I have pinned the prior week and decide what I would like to cook and make my grocery list from these recipes. MPM came about as a way to share what I am cooking, and to also see what others are cooking every week to hopefully get even more dinner ideas from other bloggers. If you don't pin your recipes feel free to just share what you are cooking.

Monday - Sausage Biscuits (they went over well last time)

Tuesday - Grilled Chicken with some sort of side. I originally planned to do this Keto Sushi Bowl and then the idea of fish nearly sent me over the edge. It's not something I handle or cook.

Wednesday - BBQ Pork with Loaded Cauli (Sam's has a great Whole30 friendly pulled pork)

Thursday - leftovers

Friday - The beloved Chicken Nuggets & Fries

Saturday - eating out

Sunday - Crack Chicken with Caesar Salad (using a bag salad)
