The Family "Beach" Pics & a Christmas Linky Series

Last week a friend of our's took pictures for the praise team for the church, lucky for us we managed to get a few individual and together. You may or may not see these in your Christmas card this year. I love how they turned out, we seriously have not taken a photo together since we were in Italy. Italy! A year ago!

Ridiculous, right?

Like many of you I married a man who subscribes to the "no photos" side of the Amish apparently. It is like I am sucking out the man's soul to get a good photo.

With that said I am sure you can understand why I am so happy about these. The first picture is cracking me up, this is my hands down favorite shirt and the wind blew and made me look prego! Don't speculate people, there are no buns in the oven, much less the freezer!

This is the photo they used for Jeremy on the church website, when I read his bio I nearly died. [I put it below]
 Jeremy Babb, Student Minister
I hail from Monroe, which is in North Louisiana (the real Louisiana). I earned my BA in Psychology at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. There I met this girl named Emily whom I married in 2009.  In the Spring of 2011 I moved to Thibodaux to continue my studies at Nicholls State University in School Psychology. Upon my arrival, I was immediately plugged into this church with the incredible opportunity to work with young people. God has given me the ability to serve at other churches and be on mission to serve young people at several points in my life. I guess the writing on the wall would indicate that God wants my wife and I to work with youth right now. My hobbies include, well I only have one hobby and that would be giving Emily a hard time. If you are looking for name brand stuff (let’s say Ray-Ban sunglasses), but you don’t want to pay brand name prices, come talk to me, I can help you.
Can you believe his hobby! I swear this man is so crazy.
I love how my picture turned out, I haven't had my picture made in 3 years. I am really thinking I need to bribe lovely Sara to take a Christmas picture of us with the pups, Gerard (worship minister) picked our outfits for this and obviously went with a "family beach pic" theme. Is it weird that these pics how me seriously excited about Christmas?
Speaking of Christmas I am doing a 25 days of Christmas blog series where I am just going to share neat Christmas finds from Pinterest and things I make or cook myself. Who would be interesting in joining in as a linky? If someone is crafty at graphic design and would be willing to fit it up nicer I'd love that! I am also looking for a co-host or two if anyone wants to join in!
