Friday Five

January 26, 2018

Product received from Montiel were complimentary in return for a review with Lafayette Moms Blog.

It's Friday and let's kick off the weekend with an awesome active wear deal!

I got this awesome tear drop sports bra from Montiel in the mail yesterday and immediately fell in love. All my usual complaints about a sports bra were out of the window. No strap pain. No band rolling. It's a little slice of heaven.

So with that... Lafayette Moms Blog got us a discount code to share. Use LOUISIANAMOM at checkout for 20% off your purchase.

I know I will be using it very soon to snag another one of these!

I keep saying I'm going to post about Board and Brush Youngsville... and I will. It's just been one of those weeks. Jeremy started seminary classes for the spring semester this week. The computer has been out of commission... for me. But it was fun... and you should totally go!

The Pink Himalayan Dr Teal's might be my new favorite epsom salt.

Y'all know I love a good epsom salt bath. I spent my entire pregnancy in a tub of that and baking soda with lavender oil.

This just took that to another level. And it smells amazing. But I have a bergamont problem.

This past weekend we went to a friend's birthday party that had a petting zoo. Talk about toddler heaven.

Don't worry, the ducks weren't caged the entire time. I just loved how they looked all squished in there.

Harrison on the other hand was more concerned with the cake situation.

So concerned that when we started singing "Happy Birthday" to his friend he took off and blew out the candles.

Yes. That was my child. Single minded.

The quicker those candles went out the quicker the cake could be cut.

In other horrible, sad, no good, very bad news...

I've disinfected every surface in this house and then sprayed it with Lysol. Hopefully my kombucha and Welch's Grape Juice saves me from the sickness.

If you want to talk about fun, try finding on a Friday during Mardi Gras. You can't. After calling 15 people I finally found someone who could come in and I still had to leave so that Jeremy could get to a meeting today.

I missed the major cleanup today incase you were wondering, I leave for work early and Jeremy takes Harrison to the sitter... so he found the crime scene. Or the dumpster fire. Either way I would have died if I saw it. Throw up is not my game. Or my strong point as a mother.

Which probably explains why I was told "I need Daddy." when I picked the kid up today.
