34 Weeks

February 3, 2015

5 weeks left y'all!

Next week I start all my crazy crunchy concoctions that promise to ease the rest of this roller coaster called having a baby. I'll save all that chatter for next week... then we can review it in a month.

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 34 weeks
Size of baby: Baby H is the size of a head of cabbage
Maternity Clothes: All maternity pants and bras, and Piko tops. Plus whatever of Jeremy's that fits. Support belt and compression stockings have become a must... and not a wrist thing for carpel tunnel. It pays to have girlfriends having babies at the same time.
Gender: Boy
Movement: He like to party all night. Jeremy suggested I learn to sleep though it. I'm here to tell you it's impossible to sleep thought someone dragging their feet across your insides and doing what feels like aerobics all night.
Cravings: Frozen Whipped Greek Yogurt. Jeremy accused me of taking his Italian Ice, silly man I only steal Blue Bell.
What I miss: Getting out of bed without an act of Congress to do it. I seriously fell asleep trying to roll over last night. I made it to my back and before I could get to the other side to swing my legs over the bed to go potty I was out cold. At least I didn't wet my pants.
Highlight this week: We got all of our big baby gear - 4 Moms Rockaroo, Graco Click Connect Travel System, Medela Pump, Graco 4Ever car seat... and my splurge the Puj tub:)

After this many years of being married and considering I'm nearly 30 I've adopted the I'm getting what I want attitude with baby things. I imagine I've gotten a few eye rolls, but when you've waited this long and you've been this sick during pregnancy you have to have a little fun. I'm a cheap son of a gun, and made a point to cut corners where I could so I could justify my baby gear.

Plus I swore to Jeremy it would be used to baby #2, which helped to ease his cheap tail along into the notion of what I wanted to get. After this pregnancy I should consider going into sales, if I can convince old stubborn Jeremy I can convince anyone ha!
