2018 Year in Review

January 2, 2019

January

This month we played and celebrated a friend's birthday. If I'm remember correctly this nutty toddler blew out the candles before the birthday girl. (all the face palm emojis)

February

I turned 32 and Harry turned 3! We also found out I was pregnant with Elliot on my birthday. In case you're wondering, with out birthdays two days apart we get mama's favorite cake and I covered it in Harrison's favorite character. He wasn't mad about ice cream cake.

March

It was Easter and the annual church picnic. Harrison clearly had enough chocolate to fuel a dozen small children. Looking back I can't believe how much he's slimmed up and turned into a little boy since then.

April

We picked out first strawberries of the year. They were probably out last too. Pregnancy hit hard and that garden went to the birds.

May

More birthday parties! This one ended in Harrison wanting to take home an alligator. That was a hot no.

June

This was a big month! We had our annual family camping trip. The original location was rained out but we headed out to Arkansas again and had a blast.

I got to do my first Pure Barre class with the LAFMB ladies and won a free month!

LAFMB also had an event at The Little Gym and Harrison loved every minute of it!

July

We went on a two week expedition to visit all the family before I could no longer travel. I deemed this the "tour de families" and Harrison was so sick of being on the road that I caught him praying that he could watch TV.

Visiting Jeremy's Dad. We also saw Harrison's Great-Grandparents on Jeremy's side and Jeremy's mother. I don't know where those photos are.

The baby bump had morphed from squishy and big while camping to much larger and in charge. But hey, it was the end of my second trimester.

We also went with my family to Great Wolf Lodge. Don't ask me where those photos are either. He loved the sparkle tattoo though.

August

We got super lucky with the timing and our sitter offered a Friday night date night so we headed off to Doe's Eat Place while the kiddos played that evening!

That was also the month we went back to work and let me tell you... 3rd trimester and being back at work is no fun after a summer off.

September

We spent Labor Day in Thibodaux with friends and went on a family day date to find a Halloween costume before October hit. He spent the entire day in that sucker and luckily the public found this funny.

October

We made it to the pumpkin patch for our annual photo and had a baby!

Mama missed Halloween but Daddy and Harrison still had a blast.

November

We busted free from the hospital, Elliot had his first doctor appointment and was snuggled half to death. We took our first family photos too!

December

We watched this little butterball round out on month 2!

Santa brought Daddy the guitar he's been wanting. Harrison officially got my childhood experience of hanging out at the music store.

Sunday School Tacky Sweater Party means yearly family tacky sweater photo... not the best but whatever.

LAFMB Team Dinner at Blue Dog Cafe, why I don't have a group photo I'll never know.

Pretty Louisiana Saturday's mean wandering the zoo.

We attempted a Christmas countdown... and failed miserably.

Lots of baby-wearing at church. I gave into that light denim trend and am certain I wore this in something like 1998.

Last but not least... our top 9 according to the Gram >>>
