Meal Pinning Monday

April 1, 2013

[What is Meal Pinning Monday?]
MPM is how I meal plan for our little family. I once spent a lot of time searching the web and my recipe books hunting for new recipes and ideas for what to cook every week. Then, Pinterest came along and made meal planning much easier for me. Every weekend I look over what I have pinned the prior week and decide what I would like to cook and make my grocery list from these recipes. MPM came about as a way to share what I am cooking, and to also see what others are cooking every week to hopefully get even more dinner ideas from other bloggers. If you don't pin your recipes feel free to just share what you are cooking.

After a good week of Whole 30, and a crappy week when I went out of town I realized just how hard it is to do. Some of the foods I cut out were totally necessary, but others were totally not worth it. I know I have a dairy intolerance, and eating gluten tends to make my stomach feel bloated and gross...but other things that were having to be excluded were just too much. From now on I am just going to keep dairy and wheat to a minimum for my own sanity, but sometimes a girl needs pasta. When I tell myself I can't have something at all it just makes me want it more.

Now the first 3 days of this week are a totally different story, and a good reason why I needed to take a Whole 30 break anyway...it's time for the 3 day vegan cleanse for The Ultimate Yogi. I just can't go 3 days with no decent source of protein like Whole 30 & vegan would force on me if I combined them. But anyway, here is this weeks recipes ::
