7 questions - back to school edition

1. It's back to school time! Are YOU going back to school?

Yes, but not as a student. I teach 4th grade.

2. Speaking of back to school... You receive 10 pts if you can name this movie:

"Don't you love New York in the fall? It makes me wanna buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address. On the other hand, this not knowing has its charms."

Answer: I have not clue!

3. Who did you hang out with in school? Cool kids, jocks, nerds, were you a loner, etc? (all are welcome here- btw)

I was a little bit of a floater. I was in marching band freshmen year, a majorette sophomore year, and a water girl for junior/senior year. I dated a football player and all my friends graduated top of the class. I really didn't like the "cool kids" though. I hung out more with my youth group friends plus the ones listed above.

4. What was your favorite subject in school?

English. My favorite year was definitely senior English with Mr. Hathaway. He is seriously the teacher I try to be.

5. (I've asked this question before, but it was a while ago) If you had to go back and redo one of the following, which would you choose and why? Preschool, Elementary, Middle School, High School, College?

College, the early bachelors degree part. It was fun, but had I picked a legit major that entailed a job at the end and not dropped so many classes it would have been a different story. 

6. Home/ Packed Lunch or School Lunch?

Combo. By high school I quit eating lunch. I had a massive fear of eating in front of people that didn't disappear until I met Jeremy. He was seriously the first guy I could eat with and not feel like a fatty.

7. What's more exciting? The first day of school or the last day of school?

LAST! Hands down. I hate the first day.
