Last weekend was a nice little break from cooking, but I'm more than happy to be back in the kitchen this week making all of our meals. I guess I'm not the biggest one for eating out.
By the way the Pizza Bread from last week was awesome, I ended up using 2 cups whole wheat to 1 1/3 white flour and it wasn't too whole wheat for anyone and too little whole wheat for me.
[What is Meal Pinning Monday?]
MPM is how I meal plan for our little family. I once spent a lot of time searching the web and my recipe books hunting for new recipes and ideas for what to cook every week. Then, Pinterest came along and made meal planning much easier for me. Every weekend I look over what I have pinned the prior week and decide what I would like to cook and make my grocery list from these recipes. MPM came about as a way to share what I am cooking, and to also see what others are cooking every week to hopefully get even more dinner ideas from other bloggers. If you don't pin your recipes feel free to just share what you are cooking.

Saturday - Roasted Sausage with Brussels Sprouts, Fennel, and Potatoes
Sunday - Heading to my parents after church... it's a double edged sword of a visit consisting of taxes as well as my birthday lol. I'll just get a Dairy Queen Ice Cream Birthday Cake to make up for the taxes.

Ingredients - 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1/2 cup strawberry keifer, 1 tbsp chia seeds, large handful of chopped kale, 1/2 cup frozen tropical fruit blend, 1/2 banana
