Meal Pinning Monday

September 7, 2015

How is it really already September?

Also, after 3 months of Whole30 dinners, I've seen a revolt staged in my kitchen. I've been asked to incorporate more not Paleo foods (see also pasta and enchilidas) for the sake of my husbands sanity.

So I bought the poor man donuts Saturday morning and added Chicken Spaghetti to the menu this week.

I'm afraid he might run away soon.

He ate the Nana's Pot Roast from last week like it was manna from heaven. So obviously my pasta strike has caused a stir in the house.

[What is Meal Pinning Monday?]
MPM is how I meal plan for our little family. I once spent a lot of time searching the web and my recipe books hunting for new recipes and ideas for what to cook every week. Then, Pinterest came along and made meal planning much easier for me. Every weekend I look over what I have pinned the prior week and decide what I would like to cook and make my grocery list from these recipes. MPM came about as a way to share what I am cooking, and to also see what others are cooking every week to hopefully get even more dinner ideas from other bloggers. If you don't pin your recipes feel free to just share what you are cooking.

Monday - Salsa Chicken (with brown rice for Jeremy & coconut milk instead of regular)

Tuesday - Crock-pot Rotisserie Chicken with Roasted Broccoli

Wednesday - Dinner @ Church for J & breakfast for dinner for me

Thursday - Spicy Brazillian Burrito Bowls with Guac & leftover chicken

Friday - Chicken Spaghetti with Homemade Bread
(here's an oldie that needs to be rephotographed)

Saturday - leftovers

Sunday - Prejeans (if you live in the Lafayette area they are having a great September special - 3 courses for 2 for $35. Since the hubby loves that place and I could do without it I figured going after church for a good price was worth his happiness lol)

Breakfast - Paleo Breakfast Bowl

Lunch - Grilled Chicken with Kale, Shredded Carrots, Cucumbers & Balsamic Vinegar
