Meal Pinning Monday

April 6, 2014

LEAP week is upon us, and I'm still in an attempt to slim down before Easter/the Puerto Rico trip.

I'll explain more later, but at the moment it's quite "top secret," as in I can count the number of people who know on one hand and none of them live in my townhouse!

Also, it's hit the time of year where I tend to quit cooking inside so much and make my way to the grill, don't be alarmed... it's my yearly habit.

[What is Meal Pinning Monday?]
MPM is how I meal plan for our little family. I once spent a lot of time searching the web and my recipe books hunting for new recipes and ideas for what to cook every week. Then, Pinterest came along and made meal planning much easier for me. Every weekend I look over what I have pinned the prior week and decide what I would like to cook and make my grocery list from these recipes. MPM came about as a way to share what I am cooking, and to also see what others are cooking every week to hopefully get even more dinner ideas from other bloggers. If you don't pin your recipes feel free to just share what you are cooking.

Monday - Grilled Chicken with Baked Sweet Potatoes (I'll have to post my tried and true seasoning method very soon! I also can't get enough of a sweet potato with coconut oil, salt, and pepper. To die for!)

Tuesday - Grilled Pork Chops and Fried Cabbage

Wednesday - Grilled Chicken with Green Bean Fries
Season green beans with garlic salt & pepper. Roast at 425 until crispy. I tend to start them before I grill and they are done by the time the grill heats up and the chicken is done.

Thursday - Chicken with Lemon Garlic Zoodles (shrimp just ain't budget friendly folks)

Friday - Grilled Steak with Oven Fries (and I really want that Chimicurri Jeremy made last week.)

Saturday - Grilled Pork Tenderloin Kabobs

Sunday - Grilled Chicken with Asparagus

Breakfast - Protein Pancakes or 2 Hard Boiled Eggs with Sauteed Kale

Lunch - Grilled Chicken and a huge salad

Snack 1 - Greek yogurt
Snack 2 -  Quest Protein Bar

Now it's your turn to share your favorite recipe pins
