I was also threatened with a bad recommendation if I took off{as if I am using her anyway} and was told I was wasting my time going because they wouldn't hire me anyway. So says the lady who didn't hire me and has never seen my resume.

Now this isn't something I have to do for my dachshunds, Lord knows their 2 inch legs couldn't scale a baby gate. But two gates are necessary when your roommate brings in a dog without asking that is annoying as heck in terms of shedding and bothering my dogs. I've never seen a dog that didn't know how to play with other dogs until I met this sheep dog looking thing. Jump that hairy beast!

Really ULM, don't go all out on this new rental deal!

Ignore the dirty school mirror in the teacher's lounge. This is my OOTD:Tent was purchased from the most recent REI catalog, not really... white long sleeve-Target, Purple Loose Tank-Target(that was really popular 2 yrs. ago), Khakis-Gap, Shoes-Shoe Department. I was feeling so swollen with water weight today that I had to go as loose and comfy as humanly possible today, I felt like my skin would burst...I know TMI. Even though I look like a tent I felt rather cute and not like I was being strangled by clothes. Super conservative is also a must with 5th grade for me, boys this age have a tendency to gawk and make comments. Hence last year, and a few time this year. But at least I haven't been called Mrs. Babe yet this year haha.

Know the major differece between NSU and ULM? ULM is in the predominately Baptist part of the state...which means no on campus drinking. However, NSU has an all day happy hour in the SUB. I got a PoBoy, no booze for this lady.

Since iLeap is coming up we had to make a poster for each class(like the cheerleading stuff from high school), I was so brain dead and all the other teachers had cute posters already up. So this afternoon I decided on the slogan above and let the kids use paint to put their handprint in. Then on Monday they are going to write on their hand the other half of the sentence "because...". They wanted me to put a hand print on it and say "because I already passed it". Goofballs.

Today was insane. But I was so happy to get a half day from work. Needless to same hormones get the best of me and I was ready to slit open a daschund if it ment chocolate would fall out. So nothing made my day happier than getting a hot fudge brownie sunday late at night from Eskamoe's.

Once again another uneventful day. But uneventful is better then unwanted eventful. Anyway, this is my favorite poster I have posted in my classroom, it is supposed to get the point across that progress is made slowly...but kids don't get this poster AT ALL. Maybe it was ment for high school or something.
